Expectant mothers are permitted to take either of our Myrtle Beach Safari Wild Encounters Tours. (Needing assistance of a cane and/or family member is fine.) You must be able to walk/stand for 20 minutes and make your way up a flight of approximately 20 steps. Our 50-acre wildlife preserve is subject to the forces of nature and has uneven ground, logs, sand and uphill terrain. Unfortunately, the Myrtle Beach Wild Encounters tour is not accessible for those with disabilities as we do not have the capacity to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers. Preservation Station at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, where they will also have the opportunity to see our rare adult tigers and baby tiger cubs (a brief interaction/photo with the cubs is available at an additional cost). In addition, children of any age, however, can visit our T.I.G.E.R.S. The Day Safari Tour tends to be too long and contain too many necessary instructions for younger children. This is due to legal and insurance reasons, as well as the amount of time and attention needed to really enjoy the experience. The minimum age for either of the Myrtle Beach Safari Wild Encounters Day Safari Tour is 6 years old (all ages may attend the Wild Encounters Night Safari Tour). Wild Encounters Day and Night Safari Tours begin at $339 per person for both the Day and Night Safari Tours, depending on availability and season (please note that pricing for summer, holidays, and peak demand dates may be considerably higher). If it’s raining, we recommend that you bring your own rain jacket/poncho and wear clothing you do not mind getting a little damp in. A large majority of the tour is covered, and we have the capacity to move portions of it inside if needed. But, regardless of the size of the tour, it is an intimate experience for each person and group as we adjust the time you spend with the animals accordingly so every tour gets the same experience. Tours are generally more popular and more highly booked during the summer months and holidays. (based on daylight savings time) and will last three hours. The Night Safari Tours will begin at 6:30 p.m. The Day Safari Tours will begin at 10 a.m. for the Night Safari Tour (please see your e-mail confirmation for exact times due to daylight savings time). On the day of your tour, you’ll need to be at the preserve for the tour no later than 9 a.m. Our Wild Encounters Tours (both the Day and Night Safaris) operate several days a week from early-March through late-November.
